I would always go get groomed at PetsMart on Saturdays. Mom would take me and drop me off, go shopping to Barnes and Nobles and to Wal-Mart and come back in a little while to pick me up. I would get a bath and a blow dry and a poodle cut. In the summer, all my fur would be clipped short and only the fur on my ears would be left long and I'd have pink bows put in my fur. I looked so pretty. When Mom came back we would go shopping in PetsMart. Pets are allowed. You are supposed to be on a leash, but I never wore a leash. We would walk around the store and I'd stay right behind her every step of the way. If I found something interesting, she would buy it for me. Unfortunately, I'm was a little dog and could not see the stuff on the top of the shelves. Everyone would marvel. "Look at the way that little dog walks right behind her!" I was always so pleased to hear these comments, because they made me proud to be such a good doggie. The car rides were the best, going there and coming back, but I had to wear my leash in the car. I kept wanting to jump out the window when I saw something interesting. Once Mom almost had an "accident" in the car because I tried to jump past her and out the window. I think it was different than the kind of "accidents" I had on the floor when I was a puppy. I did not know that cars and the street were dangerous then. I found that out the hard way. Rainbow Bridge is a very nice place to be, it is always warm and sunny here. But the people you love are not here, so it's not perfect.
