Hi guys how are ya? Just a lil hammy update here. Gonna let mom take it away so I can eat this yogie! ~He's so silly. Well I've been thinkin about Goblins suggestion of the Hamster Derby. I think I'm gonna go ahead and take them up there. They are spoiled rotten but this will be something fun to do. I let Scarface and Chester out in their run abouts last night. I have 3 'minis' I don't even remember where I got them all. It seemed to be too small for Chester. So I went to Petco today to get him a bigger one. The 'regular' is HUGE in comparison! They also had the hamtraks on sale, the race track they use for the derbys. It was $4! Usually $20! So if any hammies out there want one you better tell your humans to go lookin now! Hehe. Anyways, I'm tryin to get them ready. Scarface will probably spend his time at the derby cleanin himself but maybe Chester will run his heart out! Getting them up at 1 pm will be a job in itself. Anyways, I think that's it. Wish them luck Saturday!

I wish we could go together too! How much fun would we have? Mom says she will definately take her camera and hopefully get some video. When she checked out with a stack full of hamster stuff the lady said the derbys were so much fun. They had a sign up sheet so she put us both down. Our biggest obstacle is our love for turning around! Who wants to run straight? lol Oh and mom now has two tracks. One is pretty big but she is thinking of combing the two. Whoa! We'll see how that goes.

woohoooo work it guys!!gotta work those hammie muscles!! and a one.. and a two.. -does more squats- i hope your momma takin the camera like mine is!! she wants to take some pictures and hopefully a few clips:) this time they are having a 'critter run' after the hammie derby for chinchillas, rats and guinea pigs and the like.. though momma doesnt feel comfortable taking her ratties to a place she knows there might be other ratties to catch something from.. she only gonna take me, wow i wish we could all go together!!

Well Scarface actually did a lil better on the track than Chester. Chester would run to one corner then turn around and run to the next. Scarface ran around a few times, doin pretty good then he stopped to clean himself. He is very OCD about that. Once he starts it'll be a good five minutes before he's done. When the tracks came out I didn't buy one cuz I didn't think it worth it. It's not. If you find it on sale it's good though. It actually came with a regular sized ball which I wasn't aware of. So that was a plus even though I bought one with the track. Haha! Hopefully I can get them used to running the track in two days!
