Mom and dad took me on my first ever vacation!!!! I was so confused when grandma came over the morning of the trip and didnt take me home with her .. then when mom and dad were loading up the car I got really sad =( and I kept waiting for them to drop me off at grandma's, they never did .. we drove overnight so they were both super tired!!! I got to use the "pet exercise areas" We went to see the great sand dunes and I got to walk on them .. but the sand was getting hot so mom decided we were done .. didnt want me to burn my paws .. then we drove to colorado springs and checked into our hotel .. they slept all day, and only left to get dinner (we were supposed to do one of our activities that night) the next day they got up early .. we went to the Garden of the Gods and walked for an hour or so (they kept putting me differnt places to take pics) and then ate on their patio since I couldnt go inside. then we went to Manitou Cliff Dwellings .. it was fun !! Again posing for pictures .. and I went in their museum and gift shop ... the next stop was Pikes Peak !! it was a drive with a good view .. when we got to the top mommy put my fleece she had gotten from there the year before on me .. because it was chilly .. we took some pictures at the top .. on the way back down we stopped and were climbing some rocks to take pictures!! dad said Im getting good at climbing. On the way back to the hotel we stopped at this awesome dog park .. it had a creek in it and I actually got in!!! After dinner and a short stop back at the hotel room we went to Seven Falls .. I didnt like it when we went up top .. I was scared of falling .. so mommy carried me .. she says I am a heavy baby ... Now we're back home and mom is really sad ... she and dad want to move there someday .. she says she wants me to be a mountain dog .. and is hoping to move before I get too old to do all that stuff
