Because i've never seen a cat before i'm not quite sure whether to play with them or run away from them. Sometimes it seems that magik wants to eat me, he puts his arm around me really casually, not aggressive atall, so I think he just wants to play fight! I don't realise the potential danger I could be in so I just stand there and let him grab me, my human just shouts his name and he's off me immediatly, he knows it's wrong, sometimes he’ll just go after Jake instead! I will go up to magik when he's laying down and he lets me sniff all under his chin, around his neck and on his back, he even licked me on the ear! :) though if he moves suddenly it scares me for a moment. The humans are keeping a very close eye on me and magik, he can't be trusted. I think Jake is scared of me, when I hop over to greet him he runs away! XD

Magiks just overly playful, his favourite game is 'attack' though he's never really serious about it, he just likes to play fight a lot, the killer instinct is strong in him! :P He knows Lucy is too fast for him so he doesn't bother with her anymore, I doubt he'd ever try and do any serious harm to me, he just thinks i'm a play thing! Today he has just walked past me a few times but my human had to shoo him off me a couple of times too, no harm done, he just wanted to play! Hopefully he'll soon learn i'm not something for him to play with!

I was not sure of TARA when she arrived but mum has 2 cats also and they never bother me at all but I am nearly the same size as them!! LOL, Tara and I are now best buddies and she even used to come in the bottom part of my hutch when she was littler!! Time and patience I think is the key here! Good luck and I'm sure that you will all be friends in time! If not then you will all just learn to get along and know that you are all part of the same family! :)

I believe over time you can become best of friends with a cat after all they aren't supposed to like dogs and Sassafras has mothered me since I was a baby. But it doesn't hurt to be on guard ontil you are sure of your safety. Sassafras also has given Mr Wiggly our guinea pig a bath and Mom has left the cage opened for over 24 hours and have seen Sassafras watching over him without hurting him. Magik will realize over time that you're part of the family and off limits to him.
