I think I am in the dog house. Can a cat be in the doghouse? As mom put it I am grounded in the house. She says Me and JJ are in the dog house. Seems I made mom cry and very sad late last night. Well JJ helped too. I don't think I should take all the blame JJ. Mom does not allow us to go outside and play because we are inside cats. Well mom says I have a big price tag over my head (whatever that means - I see nothing hanging) so she has to be very careful with me too. Plus I was a gift from Suki's mom (human sissy) so she really can't lose me. So we are allowed to play in the garage where mon parks her truck sometimes. Well last night was one of those nights. JJ went out first and then I wanted to go out too. So mom let me out. We usually stay out there exploring for several hours. Well 2-3 hours later mom came out to find that she had not closed the garage door. Where were her cats. Mom was frantic. She tried food, she tried everything but no cats did she find. Then mom put a jacket on and started pacing the surrounding streets like a mad lady. Mom put a small bowl of cat food out in case I was anywhere around. She knows how much I love food. Mom was afraid I would get run over. She was going in the neighbors yards (they were sleeping) with a flashlight looking for me. She wasn't too worried about JJ because he knows his way home but I had never been away from home. No luck did mom have in finding me and she could only hope that JJ would take care of me - if we were even together. Mom kept thinking that my first birthday was in 3-4 days but where was I. She wondered how she would ever tell human sissy. Well mom thought all she can do is sit in the garage all night and wait until daylight. As she was walking back in to the open garage she looked under her truck and who did she find JJ and when she looked harder she saw me dashing around in the outskirts. Mom was so happy to find us that she quickly closed the garage door so we could not get out. She told us what good kittys we were. She told JJ that he did a good job of taking care of me. The best part is she let us keep that food she put out to trap us with and says I will have a birthday pawty on the 22nd after all.
