Let's face it, most cats don't like to take trips to the vet and will do just about anything to stay out of, or get out of, their carrier.
That behavior however, nearly cost Georgia her home, and possibly her life.
The 6-moth old kitten wiggled out of her carrier on a subway platform. The black kitten was missing for 25 days before she was spotted in the tunnel below Lexington Avenue and East 55th St.
Subway workers Mark Dalessio and Efrain LaPorte went through the area making "meow" sound, and the lonely kitten responded. She was found cowering in a drain located between two tracks.
She was reunited with her owner, Ashley Phillips, a 24-year-old Bronx librarian.
Georia had lost some weight, and had a scratch on her nose, but was otherwise in good condition. Source
