Well, i've had an ouch but lately it's gotten worse and concerned my human family. I love to dig in the rocks and cause mischeif (Which is why I was named Bandit). But I cut my nose on a rock the other day. Mommy thought the new clean tank would help heal it- it only rounded the cut off. See, when a fish cuts it self, it shows white. Since i cut my nose, a softer part, the skin flaked off a little. And a little more..and a little more after that! D: So now mommy's trying to think of what floating medicine would be the best for me. It's very unusual for a fish to hurt itself how i did if you didn't already notice so humans are very worried now. Back in the day, Tanner the 4th fish ever to be added into the tank gang, was added :) He was your average goldfish, but he had something wrong with his nostrils. They would point upkind of and humans thought it was just a birth defect. It never seemed to bug him, so humans didn't worry much as they do now with me. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? We thought of replacing the bottom with sand because we have live plants and things that need to stay buried. (Sand is too easy to dig through) And as far as we know, their is nothing on the market for scale growth or cuts...help?
