they had (kind of still are having) a big ice storm where we live. daddy had to go into work at 730 today ... and they closed mom's salon until noon, when she was on her way there (after starting the car forever, scraping windows, getting ready for work, etc.) she gets a call that the power went out there and she doesnt have to go in .. yay for us!!! now the ice is starting to melt, but our driveway was a sheet of ice 1/4" thick, and it was hard to walk on this morning but all the ice on the trees and such looks so pretty!
