Please say some special prayers for me. I have had a growth or absess under my left eye that I have had for almost a year now. They initially thought it was my tooth. Yes Mommy and I were very surprised that I would have an external absess when teeth are internal. We have put off the surgery for as long as possible due to my age and my having a slow heartbeat. They have done this by giving me antibiotics every time it flares up. Well now they think it is also possible he may have a foxtail imbedded in my gums or jaw or somewhere in there. Knowing me and where I wonde that is very possible. The only way they can tell if it is this or my tooth is to put him under anethesia and take xrays. Because of my slow heartbeat they will give me special anethesia. I will go in to the Vet Hospital on Tuesday morning and hopefully (with prayers) I will be able to come home Tuesday night - maybe less a tooth but probably in a lot of pain according to the doctor. Mom says that she will stay home with me and that the doctor will give me pain medication.

i hates when they takes our fuds away!! but its fer da best until you come back.. im sure youll get extra yummies fer being such a good boy!! oh.. im a rat not a gerbil hehe!! good thing about us ratties is that if we need to get knocked out we dun need our food taken away.. since we dont throw up.. ratties cant throw up O_O
