she was voting in the rainbow bridge contest and couldn't continue for this time.. she got to thinkin about me, how much she misses me and all the lil things i did that made me special.. and then looking at all the other animals that have left loved ones behind.. how can she choose? she thinks about me alot.. and looks at all these other ones that have passed on and thinks.. how very wonderful animals are.. to come into everyone's lives and steal their hearts.. she is so thankful for the chance to spend her life with so many special souls, anyone that thinks animals don't have souls need to be kicked right straight in their arses.. anyways, thought id share this, since animals bring a sense of wonder and peace with their pure hearts that cannot be duplicated.. faked.. and most of all.. forgotten -wipes a tear-
mommy voted once through the contest so she could see all the wonderful animals & their beautiful pictures. She wouldn't vote anymore cause it made her very sad, because she felt she couldn't choose one over the other anymore. She couldn't even see the pictures clearly through her tears after a while. everyone did a great job.
coincidentally I died from the same problem my humans father died of, cancer of the oesophagus! Pretty spooky eh! But my human looks foward to the day when we are all reunited again, even if it is a very long way away! My human is pretty convinced that there is a place for all of us in the afterlife and can't wait to see us all again!
Aww it's ok Jasper :( I think all of us rainbow-bridge-pet-parents *big word!* are in the same boat. I passed in January of 2006 very suddenly. But, that's beside the point. We're all here to support each other and have fun :) Mommy will be sure to vote for you guys and i'll be sure to tell the other pets in my family to keep bringing smiles to pikapet ;)
Mommy can't even vote in that contest, because it seems every time my pictures show up, or one of moms other pets. It is very sad to see the pets that have gone away because of old age or even die of a disease. I think the contest is more than a contest though. It shows how wonderful how we are re-united with our humans, and lets everyone see the collages and pictures of the pets on here. I think it is the best contest we have ever had on here, but the saddest contest as well. Half the pets on there mommy didn't even know passed on.
It truly brings a tear to mommy's eyes as well, looking at all the ones who have passed on. She definitely agrees with you on this one. Maybe one day we will be able to see them again. Mommy sure misses me, I was too young to go.
