Murphy Dylan von Alpenschatz, a Bernese Mountain Dog, was born on August 3, 2006. When I wrote this he was 10 1/2 months old and weighed 115 lbs. We purchased Murphy from Claire Coppola in New Jersey, and is the product of Liebenhund "Pass the Beer Nuts" (Norman - owned by Ruth & Rich Jacksic) and Alpens Anakin v Liebenhund (Annie). Claire is an amazing breeder and is always available to answer questions when Murphy has a problem. Murphy has had two shoulder surgeries as a result of OCD, which has recovered from fully without any additional problems.
