Surprisingly, he was Mysti's brother, though they don't look related at all. Shadow was a beautiful, sleek cat that reminded me of a mini panther. He had a purr so loud I could hear him across the living room unless the tv was on. He loved chasing bugs, tackling his sister, and going after most dairy products including yogurt and sour cream.  He passed away January 3rd, 2008 from cardiomyopathy just 3 months before his 3yr birthday.  Shadow's last moments were spent curled up on his favorite chair that was made by my fellow college classmates in 3D art class and modified by me with blue paint, stuffing, and a shaggy blue fabric that was his cushion.  Shadow was a wonderful cat and will be dearly missed.
