Ruben is a six month old puppy boy who was given up. His former person reports that he is house trained; lived indoors and had some obedience training. We find him to be very affectionate; attentive; easy-going; friendly; gentle and happy. UPDATE: Ruben is very ill and has been hospitalized. His doctors suspect canine influenza and he is being treated with antibiotics for pneumonia. 7/5/08 Ruben was able to leave the animal hospital on July 3rd and can continue recovering in a home environment. His doctors want him to be isolated from other dogs for a few more days. 7/17/08 Ruben has left his special foster home who took care of him for several weeks while he was recovering. Now he can start meeting families on his long list of great homes. We know he won't get very far own the list and want to thank everyone for their patience and
concern.
