How I Arrived To My Family: We didn't adopt her she adopted us! She loved people,cats and dogs as long as the dogs were either SMALLER than she was or BIGGER than she was! If they were the same size no way! Her 2 best friends were our neighbers ESS/Husky mix and my friends Chi. In October of 2005 I had caught my neighbors dog and they werent home so I put him in our yard and I stayed outside watching him and Dahlila play until his parents came home and took him back across the street to their house. I brought Dahlila in because it had begun to rain and she went right back to the side door which led to the garage and started whining and when I went to see what was going on she just looked up at me like "Where did Checkers go?" I told her that he went home and she looked like "why? We were having fun!" Ok so I don't know what she was saying exactly but I could tell she wanted play some more and playing tug wouldn't settle her so after much arguing in 2005 we brought home Cinco and she wouldn't have anything to do w/ us for almost a week unless she had to go out. She eventually got used to having him around and loved him! Cinco brought her back to life! Dahlila loved all people but mainly women and was my moms girl but when my mom got sick and ended up in the hospital and eventually passed away Dahlila became MY girl!

My Personality: Momma says that I'm a very sweet girl! I'm a little dog but I think I'm a big dog!

Favorite Food: my dog food and SNAUSAGES!!!

Favorite Treats: SNAUSAGES! Oh and my KONG treats/fill

Favorite Walk: Minooka park trails,Fox River Parkway Park trail, Fox Brook Park trails, around the neighborhood

A Typical Day: Wake up,eat, say goodbye to mom,play w/ Lizzie, watch for mom, greet mom at the door, play w/ mom and Lizzie, wait for mom to "accedently" drop some of her dinner on the floor for me and Lizzie to eat, Help mom do Homework,take mom for walkies,play w/ Lizzie, watch tv w/ mom,goto sleep

Happiest Moment: Getting adopted,Cinco getting adopted, rescuing a beagle off the streets,adopted Lizzie

Things I Own: My moms entire life!

My Little Mischiefs: Broke into the bag of puppy chow the first day w/ my new family! They tried using a laundry basket for my little puppy pen and I flipped it over I jumped outta "my" box when I was 6 months old while mom and her dad were running errands wandered into my grandpa's old office and the door shut and I didn't make a noise so my grandpa spent hours searching the neighborhood for me, then he went to the shelter w/ my picture of me! He came home and he heard me barking and scratching at the door

My Health: Well I've had fleas,kennel Cough 2 times, Worms and been attacked by a Pit Bull(but I still like the breed)
