Kiki was my baby. She is now passed away and in Heaven, where I hope she is making
friends there. I miss her dearly, she was my darling, my sweet, sweet,
baby. I know you aren't supposed to pick favorites, but she was my
favorite. She was the sweetest thing on four feet. I like all my other
cats, I don't have anything against them, but when my sweet, Kiki
passed away in Decemeber 2007, I couldn't stop crying! I remember one
day Sarah said, "Mommy why are you crying?" I told her that Kiki was
gone now, that she was in heaven now. She said "Well, Mommy, if she is
in Heaven, shouldn't you be happy? Shouldn't you be happy that
Great-Grandpa is looking after her? Shouldn't you be happy that she
doesn't hurt anymore? That she doesn't feel the pain?" From then on, I
couldn't stop thinking about what Sarah was saying. She was so true,
but what I wanted to tell her was that she is gone and I won't be able
to see her again for a very, very long time, but I didn't. I still
sometimes cry myself to sleep, I am so used to having Kiki snuggle up
with me before I go to sleep, that I didn't know what to do when she
