How I Arrived To My Family: For four months I hinted to my mom about another dog. Preferrably a beagley girl. I did extra things, made sure I did all my chores, and always did everything I could possibly do for my current beagley, Freddy. Then my birthday rolled around. The time was perfect. I popped the question finally. My mom first questioned it. Said no, then switched to yes and no. Finally she was convinced. It truley was a yes! From that moment on, we bookmarked Petfinder and kept our eyes out. We went to several shelters each week with no luck. Then my grandfather (Maya's owner) suggested to try the newspaper. My mom did and she found an ad. LOST BEAGLE GIRL. She called the number and we waited a week. I honestly thought she wasn't going to be the one when I heard about her. Then on Monday, September 24, 2007 we went down to Frosty Paws Kennel with Fred to go check her out. It was love at first sight (and sniff). We immediatly loved her and she was ours. On Wednesday, September 26, 2007 she was home! We fell more in love with her and she is forever ours.
