Well my mom was thinking about adopting a Norwegian Elkhound. And she was just looking thro and she saw me.. She wants to adopt me but I live in another state.. So she wants to help me find a great home.

About me:

Sierra is a very sweet female Norwegian Elkhound, approximately 3-4 years old. She is new to rescue and is very submissive to people. We suspect that she wasn't treated well in her prior home and that she was just used to breed puppies. She is now spayed, up to date on shots and on monthly heartworm preventative. She is doing very well in her foster home and seems to be housetrained! Sierra isn't really fond of other dogs so might do best as an only dog.

Sierra is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing her as a courtesy for the John Nelson Moosedog Rescue Fund and her adoption will be handled through them.
