A baby ate my Dingo!
Despite his cranky dispostion, he can be a real sweetheart, and with those big ears and short legs, we can't help but adore him.
He just doesn't like being picked up. Even when he was a little baby and we would pick him up (he fit in the palm of your hand), he would make little baby growls, turning his open mouth towards your hand. We would laugh, thinking "what does he think he's going to do? He doesn't even have any teeth, yet!" And he still hates to be picked up around his middle, especially if he's caught off guard, and he often growls in protest when he's sent to lay down in the kennel... as he's walking into the kennel! We couldn't bear to part with him as a pup because we knew no one would love him and understand his quirkiness as much as we do. He is our little fat boy, refusing to leave the food bowl if anyone else is eating and sometimes, just because there is still food left in the bowl!
