Sasha was adopted when she was 3 months old. She was very hyper and happy puppy. She loved to go on car rides and being with my family. I noticed that Sasha was never a very healthy puppy but the vet would always tell me that she was ok. When Sasha was 3 years old she got a real bad infection in her right eye and i noticed that her eye became swollen and puffy. We took her to a specialist in Winter Park Florida and he confirmed that Sasha had lost her sight on her right eye.We were very sad and we learned to live with it because as long as she was healthy and happy and it didn't seem to bother her we were happy.She manage just fine as long as you didn't pet her from her right side that made her very nervous. We took her to the specialist every month and on her last visit the vet told me that her sight was coming back. We were all so trilled. On the first week of August in 1999 Sasha started limping from her left back leg we took her to the vet and they told us that she had fracture her leg and gave some pain medication and we were relieved that it wasn't anything worst. The limping and crying continued and she was very lethargic and wasn't eating. We took her again to the vet and that's when they told us that her main artery was blocked and there was nothing they could do. They gave her medications and send her home.On the morning of August 23,1995 Sasha started crying and screaming and we did not know what was going on. My sister and i had to leave from work early and when they arrived at the vet they told my family that she was having a heart attack and that they had to put her to sleep. Sasha was only 4 years old. i would never have another birthday, Christmas ,New year's with her. She was gone before i knew it. I found out that Sasha was a puppy Mill dog and that is why she was always ill. But i still have my memories and photos and a lock of her hair and all her toys and clothes.Sasha would had been 12 years old if she had lived and i am happy to know that she is at the rainbow Bridge where she is young again and in no more pain.
