I am half Maine Coon and also from Maine. Snippet is my big brother and two weeks older than I am. We have different mommies. Daddy was very prolific in our little town.  Most of the cats there look like him. I look exactly like my daddy, but his hair is long and soft. Mine is medium length and soft. I love cat nip, and mommy.  When I was really small I broke my leg falling off of a curtain that Snipett chased me up.  He thought I was his personal, living chew toy. But mommy took good care of me and made sure i got everything I needed. We bonded and I am hers forever. 

I was the runt of the litter and 14 ounces when I was 8 weeks old. The DR said I would never weigh more than 7 pounds and that I would not live to be 6 years old.  HA..now I am almost 9 and I weigh 10 pounds.   Snipett and I still chase each other, only now I win alot.
