Skjegg - prounced Sheg - is a Norwegian word. It means a man's beard or 5 o'clock shadow. He is a great little doggie, though he wound up much bigger than we were told he would be. The petshop told us he would be around 5 or 6 pounds... he grew to 13 pounds. A bit too large to carry in a little pet carrier. We call him a Great Dane Yorkie.

He is as sweet as he can be.
