How I Arrived To My Family:
I work with these dogs because they're either hyper and in need of training or shy and in need of socialization. I very rarely work with dog less then 7 months and I never work with dogs under 5 months. Though there are a lot of puppies at the shelter and shelters in most places. I also don't work with Cats or other pets but there are loads of cats and lots of other pets too, from horses to hamsters.
The breeds I work with most often are German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, Border Collies and Beagles because they're very high energy and therefore most of the ones coming to the shelter are in need of training. Don't let that sour you on any of those breeds though because they tend to also be very quick learners and easy to train. As you can already see by the pictures up, though, there are an array of breeds put in the TLC(Twice Loved Canines) program, which is the training and socialization program.
