Nicknames: Lil Buddy

How I Arrived To My Family: On March 8, I first met my new Mommy. She came in to Petsmart and filled a cart full of hamster toys, food, snacks, treats, bottles--even a hammie duplex cage. She looked at all the little pets before she picked me. There were my two brothers, asleep in their little house like always. They never like to have fun! There were other Syrians in five different colors, dwarf hammies, gerbils, something called a "fancy mouse", even a big soft chinchilla. But she saw me running on my wheel and smiled really big. She told the lady in the blue shirt, the one who brings me yummies, that she wanted the cute, energetic one, the one who'd been running on the wheel for twenty minutes straight. That's me, all right. I love to exercise! And all that stuff in the cart was for ME! The Petsmart lady picked me up gently and put me in a little box with air holes, then gave me to Mommy. I was really scared at first, but she talked softly to me and told me it was going to be okay, she'd take me to my posh new home real soon. And she did! We drove home, I heard her usher the cats outside, take a big 10-gallon aquarium and attach the duplex to it, then set up all the toys and cover the bottom with aspen, my favorite bedding. Then she took me out of the box and put me in my new home, and I ran around for a little while, just exploring, but soon I hopped right on to the wheel. It was the same color and everything as the wheel I had in the pet store, but it was even bigger. I loved it!
