How I Arrived To My Family:
It was my first day volunteering at the Toronto Humane Society on Sept 15/2001. I was grooming the cats, giving them lots of TLC. It was a Saturday and that is the busies adoption day. I was happy because my family was coming down to the shelter to help me picked out a new cat. My mom wanted a female cat because we had a male cat. They say to get younger and the opposite sex. It works out better that way. I already had a kitten picked out. She was a comical looking, had big ears, a skinny tail and tiny paws. Looked like a small rat. She was in a cage with her brother, he was all black. Sabrina was arouund 2mos or 3mos. The boy was alot calmer while the sister was very playful and active. These kittens we're very popular with everyone. I wanted the little tortie soo bad, it was love at first sight. She was different and unusual. I didn't want her taken before they got here. I was lucky because she was still here when my family came. I tooked her out of the cage and I was carrying her around. Trying to convince my mom that she was the one that I wanted. I put her back in the cage, hoping that know one adopt her before us. My mom finally gave in and started process. We got an number, now we just had to wait for ar interview. A lady agent called are number, we showed her the kitten we wanted She tooked the paperworks off the cage. Sat down with her, talked about the kitten and went over are application. We got approved. She put a nice blanket in the box. I guess she liked us.
