How I Arrived To My Family: We had just lost are first cat to kidney disease on Jan 28/2000, a tabby girl named Murr. It was really hard to have to put her to sleep. It was a very difficult decision to make but she was suffering and in pain. The best thing was to let her go. Just after her death, it was very lonely and not the same without a cat around. We waiting 1 month and half before we got another cat. On March 15/2000 we went down to the Toronto Humane Society to see what kitties they had there. We walked into the cat adoption room and I noticed they didn't have a big selection to choose from. The first kitty that I sawed was a 3mos old black/white kitten. He was the most playful, affectionate and outgoing boy in the shelter. It was love at first sight, he picked me as his new owner. He was mine and I wasn't leaving without him. As a kid I always wanted a black/white kitty. I thought they are very beautiful. I love his personality. I was really trying to convince my mom that Joey was the right one for are family. I got this one right, he is the perfect boy. Joey fits are family and we couldn't ask for more. She got the adoption form, filled the papers out and got a number. We waiting for are interview. 30mins after, the adoption agent called are number. He went over are application and talked about Joey. He approved us and we tooked him home on March 15/2000.
