Tai Xi came into our lives on January 4,2010. Tai Xi has a very sad story. He was born to a stray kitty that comes to our balcony he was the smallest of the litter and the one that could never get to nurse from his mommy. The weeks went by and i noticed that Tai Xi was not growing and very very thin. I noticed that his siblings were of normal weight and size and he still looked like he was 8 weeks old. My family and i were debating on what to do we had a very strong cold front coming and he was not looking too good. On January 4th my sister and i went out to the balcony and got him in a carrier and my sister took him to the vet. The vet called me and told me that he was a boy and that his weight was 2 pounds and he was already 8 months old. He told me that Tai Xi was stuck in the body of an 8 week old kitten due to lack of mother's milk and lack of food and due to that he had 4 different parasites in his intestines and also a very bad cold and eye infection. We decided to keep Tai Xi since we knew that no one would want him since he required alot of care and attention.We brought him home and my goodness were Milani and Mei Mei upset they just kept looking at him like what is that? It took days for all 3 of them to get use to each other .Finally they all became friends and it's funny when i see him so tiny chasing after the girls. The vet told me that he won't grow too much and that he will be the size of a kitten for the rest of his life. He weighs 5.7 pounds and he has a huge round belly and he enjoys being with us and being brushed and held. We have been very lucky to have rescued these 3 beautiful kitties that were a gift from above.
