Hi Opus, Mom found me on petfinder, too. I am so happy she was looking when my picture was there. I was lucky that the Yorkie Rescue group added me to petfinder so Mom could see me there. |

Mom Looked at Yorkie groups too, but around here they want $500 to adopt a yorkie, she coudn't quite aford that. But thats ok, we got Cailin instead! |

I dont think we could be happier than we are with Cailin! She has turned out to be what mommy calls an "angel" she is loving and supprisingly calm for a JRT. |

I almost got a doggie on petfinder. it looked just like Dakota but different markings.
I agree it is a great tool to find a new pet.
My next pet will come from Petfinder. |

I found my "sister", Jasmine. (who isn't on pikapet) She was a great dog, but sadly we had to return her because we felt bad because we didn't have enough room for her to run. Mommy worked alot and didn't have time to excersise her. |

Your Mom was very good about caring so much about what would be good for Jasmine. Some people get doggies and don't think about their needs like your Mom did. |

I was found on Petfinder as well. I came from the Humane Society of Angelina County, located in Lufkin. It is a great site to find your pooch or companion. |

Thanks, Sean. I think she did a good job on thinking that over too. It was sad and heart breaking, but I rather take her back so she could have a nice yard to run in and more time to get excersise. I love dogs and I'd do anything that is good for them. |

When we were searching for a greyhound, we looked on petfinder. We did find one grey named Bandit that we were gonna adopt. We met Bandit and just fell in love with him. They greyhound rescue place that he came from had a program where you can test out the grey and take care of him for a week. We were about to do that until we found out someone was getting ready to adopt him. (Bandit's adoption process was brought to a screeching hault when he went in for surgery. But that's a whole other story!) |

We primarily use PetFinder to scout out which fosters, we will take in. It's a great source, and it saves us tons of time, instead of visiting each shelter we can get a quick overview of what dogs are at each shelter online, and it makes comunicating with the shelters a whole lot easier! |
