maybe =/ I hate voting for the fakes, but when I click on another cat,dog,ect. it tells me community disagrees, if its obvious that the cat is fake, guys, dont vote for it. I don't care if its vs a pic with bad quality, I dont think fake people deserves anything but punishment. |

I totally agree. Contests make me sooo mad, because no matter what the community disagrees all the time. The highest I got was like 27 in a row, fakes and all. >_< |

The highest I have gotten I think was 11. That took me a while just to get that. The fakes always pop up when you get higher. |

They're your votes use them how you want. I've pointed out how sad it is that the fakes are consistently getting votes. It's even more sad if you vote for them just to get the points. There are other ways to earn points on here |

True, the contest aren't about the points. Sure it is fun placing, but it isn't what it's about. I'm not going to vote for them, I just don't think it is right that the fakes are placing. I would rather the real pets place, even if one of my fmaily members are dead last. |

Some pets have 2 profiles. I don't know if that's because they have problems with their first one or what. For example: Samee Samee's Second Account Samee Same dog, different family. Or Kyan Kyan But Kyan tell me on Catster they having trouble getting onto Pikapet because their ISP doesn't like, or something like that. I know that Mickey and Pacman each have one profile but then have a profile where they together too. Kind of annoying when they show up in contest against each other. As for most in a row, I think I get 25 Community Disagrees in a row until Jake come up and spoil it for me. I have to vote for Jake, he just too cute! |

That is weird that Samme has 3 accounts. Well, Arie, Domino and Jibbs have there own profile and then have one with all of them together. Basically the one account with all of them is for the pictures of them together, but I wouldn't enter them in a contest and then enter the one profile as well. I think that is a way to kinda cheat and basically enter twice for your pet, but that is just what I think. Just because you do it doesn't mean I am not going to dislike you. |

I don't pay attention to what community agrees or disagrees with, I vote for pet I like. If a suspicious pet pops up that I think should be on Fake-A-Pet , I investigate their pofile and report them. |

That is what mom does. It is actually kinda weird. If mom sees a pet she thinkgs is a fake she will go on Google, dogbreedinfo, etc... and see if she can find the picture. |

I helped mom do that the other day. There was a pic on a person's profile that was fake and mom looked on yahoo and found the picture and reported it. I think that pet and the other one got deleted by pikapet. |

Since Kujo don't have a picture just the one I made on the computer I won't out him in the contest. He's not fake but I don't have any pictures of him. |

Actually I think that's a fine idea. As long as you're not entering them in contests, I see no reason not to put up a picture you've made of your pet. Please note I said "made" not stolen off the internet somewhere. I have a lot of old pets that I'd like to put on here, just for the sake of remembering them but I don't have pictures. Perhaps I'll do something similar and put drawings of them up. |

how can you tell who is a fake?? well i know some are obvious like that zebra one. LOL hilarious, but seriously, how can you tell? how do you know which pets to investigate for being fake??? |

If the picture is really good(Sometimes they can be real though), or if it all the pictures are blury, or if it is the wrong breed. There are other ways, but the other ways are just common sense. |

Another ways to find out are:
if d@ p3r$0n Typ3S l1k3 th1$, they are usually immature fakes that want attention
low amount of info about the pet
1 really good pic, or a bunch of pics that are not of the same pet
you find the pet's picture on a search engine
says "yes i'm real but i dont have a camera" or "yes i am real, but those pictures are different because my fur color changed as i got older"
and stuff like that :3 |
