Lloth is name of the Drow Spider Deity from Advanced Dungeons and Dragons and the books that the game spawned. Since they borrowed heavily on already established mythos for the game system, I suppose that it might have some basis in earlier folklore, but I don't know what it is. I have very little interest in spiders.
The ones to watch here are called brown recluse, and they are very small, not big, but very poisonous. Bean get bit three times by one. It make her very sick, but she hard to kill, I guess.
Killing rats is my job. I also kill bugs and birds, but keeping the canal rats out of the house is what I am supposed to do. Cape Coral has more canals per square foot than Venice, Italy. Plus we are very close the Everglades swamp, so we get a large variety of strange animals that rub elbows with the humans, and not all of them are welcome. Water rats is just one of those species. Bean does not really have anything against rats or mice, she just does not want them in her kitchen. |

You don't even need bug spray. We used to get scorpians in the house every time they cut the grass and I killed those and they were MUCH more difficult to deal with than spiders. Scorpians jump and they have stingers. Spiders aren't as fast and they have to get on you to bite you. |

you havent seen too many spiders move have you?? Lloth is very fast, she sits still then suddenly an explosion of movement.. its harder for a scorpion to sting you than it is for it to pinch you or a tarantula to bite you.. anyone that has a tarantula would know if you go sticking tongs in their cage and it pisses em off, they dont have to be on something to bite it.. just closeby.. my momma's scorpion is much slower |

We get Wolf Spiders in Florida. I have killed my fair share, and scorpians too. You make a big fuss about Black Widows but their bites are rarely fatal because they only inject a small amount of poison. Also only female BWS are toxic. How can you tell if Lloth is male or female? They usually only sell males for the pet trade so that people who think it's cool to keep these things as pets don't hurt themselves.
The Scorpians down here are not very poisonous. If you get stung, your paw swells up for like a day and is a little sore. That's all.

'stuff' in the ends of them.. males also have these hooks under the first pair of legs that keep the female from killing him while hes mating.. the hooks hold her upper legs up and hes safe until he lets go:) and yeah usually its males that get sold.. females can make alot of money since you cant capture her type from the wild anymore.. its illegal, only bred ones can be sold |

she even scoops the spiders up that come in the house in the summer and sets them free...silly mommy...they just come back and bite her fro wrecking their pretty webs. |

One of the Florida Panther wives step on scorpian when she move down here from Canada. So she gets a little nervous about bugs. Husband strews potato chips down hall between bedroom and bathroom after wife goes to sleep. Do you know what potato chip sounds like to human when they step on in the middle of the night? Florida Panthers should be happy they not short a forward for the rest of the season.
Bean says that trick would be "grounds for divorce" whatever that means.
Kirby would eat potato chips, scorpian, spider, and probably rat too.
According to dog book Bean buy last weekend, Yorkshire Terror bred from Skye and Malteses and several other dogs to be ratter in Victorian times. |

and tarantulas are more about power.. they dont need strong poison because of their size... as for the emporer scorpion.. its much more likely to pinch you than sting you.. personal experience from momma.. the pinchers draw blood because they can be used to slice.. rule of the thumb, if scorpion has big pinchers.. they have less venom, have been relying more on pinchers.. small pinchers.. you in trouble |

The's good information to know...mommy likes to scuba dive A LOT and she goes weird places....if she see's a scorpion she'll check out the pinchers...and then tell hotel manager to come pick it up and take it out of the room :) |

uhh dont let them go picking up ANY scorpion, alot of poison or not.. even less powerful venom can cause a severe allergic reaction.. not good to find that out the hard way! better to just let it be hehe:) |

Don't worry Fizzgig, I would never try to eat you...I am a pampered indoor cat. Mommy heard mice in the attic, but she and daddy agreed that my brothers and I wouldn't make very good mousers because we are too spoiled. We don't even eat bugs, we're more interested in playing with them! (As for the mouse problem, daddy set up some traps which mommy insisted that they are no kill traps!) |

Me & mommy read that today...very interesting. Mommy could never have one of these as a pet though....she is allergic to mosquito bites, imagine if she were bitten by one of these? My mommy is allergic to misquitos too...and black flies...you have never seen a mosquito bite swell so big or stik around so long...before she knew she was alleric the Dr. would ask are you sure that's a mosquito bite? My granddogma (grandma) is allergic to bees....she goes into anaphylactic shock...scarrrrrrryyyyy. |

Yes I would eat all of those things...My breed was actually bred way back when to keep the rats and mice out of the mills and factories in Europe but the rich wives of mill and factory owners liked us and we got to eventually move into the rich house and not work any more. If it wasn't for rats and things like that then I might never have been bred or noticed by rich ladies...so I try to control my urge to eat rats now :)
Give me a chip any day of the week!!! Especially cheetoes....uuuummmm cheetos *toung flops out and a drop of drool hits the floor* |
