Mr. Rocko, what's with not allowing to have Pitbulls? Never heard of that, I have seen a few Pitbulls, I saw one once in an adoption day at Petsmart (from a rescue) Yes, I live in Miami Dade too.

It's definitely true, people in my family have tried owning pitbull's and had to have given them away because there not allowed in Miami-Dade maybe adoption agencies can have them but you can't legally own them in Miami dade.. oh and also we knew someone who owned 2 really sweet pitbulls and lived here, the cops found out and he either had to give them away or move to broward county.... and he decided to move... its a law in dade unfortunately. 

Go to Miami Dade county pound, and you will see a HUGE poster up on the wall talking about how aggressive pitbulls are and how there illegal to own.
