I Have A Question About Nail Trimming
Okay, so Momma ordered that thing called Pedi-Paws and tried it out on a couple of us Pets. No luck. We would not co-operate no matter how hard she tried. I kept tucking my paws underneath me and The Champ just tried to eat the contraption! So my question to all you Pets is this, has any one else bought the Pedi-Paws and have you been able to use it on your Pets? Is there a trick to it or are we just extremely stubborn and won't let momma get ahold of our paws to do it? |

Yes, I think that is the plan....trying to trick me into being good with treats. The instructions say to let us Pets get used to the sound of it before trying to work on our nails. Well, the sound doesn't bother me, but I neve did like anyone to touch my paws....so I am going to be difficult. Now Champ doesn't have as long of claws as me, but he thinks the Pedi-Paws is a monster and he wants to attack it and chew it up, so I don't know what Momma is going to do with that one! Bol! i havent buy the Pedi-Paws thingly but i did buy the dremer tool (which is use for household stuff that is just like the pedi paw thing only what differnce is it is different name and cost less but anyways i buy the dremer tool for pippy it it work fine for her pippy dont do nothing at all when i sanding her nails down ( i think she love it so much where she fall asleep while i am doing it) no lie picture below of the dremer tool  mine looks just like that but is blue and it is see though is all

Hey Pippy....it looks a lot the same! My human brother was holding me down for a few minutes last night while Momma filed a couple nails, but it didn't seem to do a very good job. I guess she is just going to have to work on it little by little. |

Maile Nei sneaking through the CC (shhhh... don't tell mom) but maybe the noise is scaring them. I do not cooperate at all with nail cuttings so that probably makes me an expert (ask mom she will tell you). Sissy and Auntie both say it is the way you hold us when you cut our nails. We have to be unable to move or away we go cause we see no reason for our nails to be cut in the first place. I will be gone in a flash cause I would never consider sitting still and letting someone do my nails - the nerve of humans. Have you ever seen us try to cut your nails or hair?? What's good for the goose is good for the gander! I'll let you do mine if you let me do yours! Whew glad I got all that out!!!

BOL! Maile! You got that right! What's fair for one is fair for all, I say! Momma said she is going to try a little each day to get us used to it. I have some serious doubts, though. I think Momma just wasted $20.00 for nothing. Just think of all the cool treats us Pets could have had for that! Humans have to do everything the hard way....I could have told her how it would be before she bought that contraption! Bol again! |

I've never had my nails cut before?! I guess cause I'm out for walks a lot so they don't need cutting??
Fudge got his done today by a vet and he was much better behaved for the vet than he is for mummy!!
I think us animals sense also when the person doing the nail cutting or filing are confident or not!!
I hope your nail cutting machine works for you all??

Hmm....I'm not sure. What taco said about the PB might work. Try getting used to being around it, then turnng it on around the dog, then slowy start bringing it near the dog? Idk. |
