Temporary new cat?
My humans friend can no longer take care of his cat, and really doesn't want to give it up to the RSPCA (especially as they put animals down after a max of 6 weeks if not adopted :s) So asked my human to look after the kitty. We've already got a bit of a full house but they agreed that if he pays for the food we will look after the kitty. Plans are still subject to change but it seems likely that the cat will be staying with us, atleast temporarily. |

Hope you all get along with one another!! Thats good of your mum to take the kitty in!! :)
If it doesn't work out though ... is there not a Cats Protection Charity where you are?? There are ones here and they put the cats into foster homes until they can be rehomed?! |

Unfortunately not, we have 2 RSPCA's and and an animal rescue in my area, but looking at the homepage, Bramcote Animal Rescue looks a little full, wouldn't want to burden them with another animal if we can look after the cat. Me and Jake are pretty good around other cats, I might be a little rough though with wanting to play. Katie's really the only one that won't tolerate other cats. Thanks for commenting :) |

Yep, it's gunna be a very full house here! My humans going to see her friend tomorrow so are going to discuss whats happening with the cat in more detail. It's a girl kitty so i'm gunna be on best behaviour for her. ;P |

A decision has been made for the cat, she's been taken to a different shelter. The reason being because she has fleas that the owner can not get rid off despite treatment, the shelter will treat the animal for free and will also spay her. This shelter means immediate vet treatment, we figured this would be best for her. I hope she's alright and finds a new home quickly! :s |
