I had to stay with  my wendy when she had her babies. she was panting and wanted me to follow her into the closet, if I left she would get up..so I had to get in the closet ( kept it dark because the kittens are born blind and the light hurts their eyes).. I petted her and she had her 4 kittens in the box I had prepared ..do you have a box with shredded newspaper or towels in a dark place for her where she knows its there? She needs to have a place where she feels the kittens will be safe and she will have them there.

I just recently had babies. It's not really that hard. Whenever you start to see white stuff come out then you know she's going to have them soon. You have to make sure you keep baby's food and water beside wherever she has the kitties. and you have to make sure that the kitties are warm at all times. You probably already know that much, but i'll keep saying stuff just incase. She should have the kittens at least 10 minutes apart from each other. If you see her laying o her back for more then 10 minutes, Start pushing on her stomach a little near her butt, it will help the kitten come out.whenever they come out, make sure you don't touch them until their eyes are open or she will hurt them, not knowing any better. Hm, Whenever you see her not wanting them to suck anymore, then it's time to potty train them and try to get them to eat and drink regular foods. But you have to soak the food in water until it's soft. :] I hope that helped you, If you need anything else, Feel free to ask.

Did the babies start coming yet?  If not look for the contractions in her stomach....you can tell the really strong ones & shortly after those a baby will slide out....Baby should know what to do, it's instinctive.  She may try to move them to hide them, keep her in a closed off room.  This will make it easier to find them if she does try & move them.  And it is OK to touch them as long as the mommy cat trusts you.  My mommy held many newborns and their cat mommy didn't hurt them.  Don't worry everything should be fine.  My mommy was worried too the first time there were babies born in the house (which was Misty's litter of 9 puppies).  Since then she has had 4 kitty litters born in her house.  I watched for 3 of them.  I am a very curious cat afterall.  If you have any oter questions mommy said to leave her a message in her inbox.  Good Luck

Guys thank you so much for the advice. I'm a worry wart so I just cant help it. My biggest worry is that she'll have the kittys when i'm at work & I won't be here to help. ( Or see )....But I know it's instinctual so i'm sure she'll be fine. She's just driving me crazy too cause I tried to move her box & food to the most secluded places in my apatrment, But stubborn Baby wants it where she wants it...LOL....Thank you all. I love this site. I'm so glad I discovered it!!!...Love to all!!

When I was born my mommy was at an Arrowsmith concert...She came home and we were all under the bed...Nothing to it...

The best advise I can give is as soon as the babies stop nursing have them fixed...especially the boys.  I was fixed as soon as I stopped nursing and I have never had and accident in the house or sprayed anything.  Good luck and I cant wait to see the pictures.
