I am glad to know it is not just me. I wait a long time for pages to load too. Mommy thought our computer was messing up. Whew, this sure is a busy place. :) |

our computer has been running slow all the time.
but mommy figures it out.
she just gots ta wait atleast 20 - 30 minutes to get this thing to load.
its not our fault, because every other site runs fine!
i think i might actually be the site.
but i still love to go on pikapet.com because it is fun and there are other animals to talk to and there is always something to do.
so yeah, dont worry about your computer. its just fine |

Thank you Maile for bringing this up. We just got our Puter back from the shop and Momma was getting upset that the puter was messing up again. We have to wait forever each time we click on to the "My Pikapet" page. We can navigate quicker when we go from pet to pet, but not when we go back to our My Pikapet page. We Pets are relieved to know it is the site and not us.
As for congrats, you guys all deserve BIG CONGRATULATIONS for such great wins in the last contest! Well done, Pals! |

I thought it was my internet service! Even though we have Dial up it goes pretty fast most the time. Mom was even going to get DSL, but it is just Pikapet. I haven't even got to check out who won the contest... so Congrats Everyone! |

actually Chiquita, everything runs fast for me on my laptop,*except when I click My Pikapet* and yet it doesnt go fast at all for my moms old computer. So maybe it does depend on your internet speed, or Pikapet is messing with my head... |

Works fast for moms laptop, but we have fast internet and the laptop is only a couple of months old. But mom's old computer is VERY slow because it got a virus. :) So it might not be PikaPet, like Jake said. ;) |

It's Pikapet because they even sent a message about it being slow - before everyone thinks they have a virus in their computer! And that's why we no longer see new pictures like before. I believe pikapet said they were working to improve the problem. They got the comment section back so that is good and it is working a little faster for me now!!! |

buttt, atleast Pikapet is getting alittle better for me....except when you go to My Pikapets, it stops. Making me having to open a new window to get it working again. |

I think those areas were taking up
too much space on the server and slowing it down. That is why the pages
wouldn't load and now they do. Pikapet is probably going to have to get
a larger server to handle all of us pets and our possessions including
comments and pictures. For now we gotta look on our page to see who is
talking to us and look in the picture galleries for new pictures I
guess. |

I am really getting tired of not being able to get my "My PikaPet" page to open, or else it takes forever for it to open. It seems like it just suddenly started being so bad all of a sudden after the first of the year, and is not improving at all! |
